I wonder if i'd have any success on twitter, considering that i post very rarely things that i have been polishing for weeks, it surely seems like success is based on quantity on the platform when it comes to artists.

Well, success on Twitter is kind of based on other users with large follower counts following you and then they retweet your work. My general advice is to reach out to other artists, and showcase your work to them. You can do this by joining a Discord that they attend/run, or just @'ing them with a pic of one of their characters or something. I established good relations with a few prominent artists on NG and Discord before opening my Twitter account.

You mentioned you rarely post things, so in that regard I would recommend finding a style/subject manner you can make quick and easy content with, and just post that. Not everything you post has to be the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. Most ppl are surprisingly impressed with just middle of the road content, and regularly posting content helps you stick in ppl's minds. The style you see here in this pic was something I developed just for posting content quickly, while still also having a very distinct aesthetic appeal.

In short, you need good friends. I saw on your profile that your 18, so I would greatly urge you to go ahead and start networking right now if your looking to make your creative talents a career, or at the very least a useful side gig for some extra money. I'm in the process of saving money right now so I can quit my job and pursue art full time. I'm 25 right now and wish I hadn't wasted so many years running after a degree I didn't care about and working a well-paid but unfulfilling job for so long. Don't stall like I did, and just get after it!
