im reading a book on John Lennon rn and damn they are annoying, maybe their music was good back in the day when people had no options but up to today's standards they are average at best.

John Lennon’s also a cunt husband/dad iirc, beating up his wife and straight up neglecting his son, so there’s that.
I’d say their best music came from the middle of their career (Sgt. Pepper’s LHCB, 1985) AND their final years (Let it Be, 1989), but even those two are kind of average at best.
